Hi everyone! I hope you’re all well.
So today I’m sharing with you the contents of my new favourite subscription box – The Vegan Kind.
In case you didn’t know, The Vegan Kind is the UK’s most popular vegan subscription box, filled with an array of treats each month (usually with something non-edible thrown into the mix as well!)
I’ve become like a kid at Christmas when this turns up at the door each month now and already can’t wait for next month. However, without further waffle, let me show you what was in the July box!
Perfectly Broken Snackable Chocolate Thins With Pretzels
These were probably my favourite item of the whole box – I’m not even a fan of pretzels at all but the salty crunch combined with the velvety dark chocolate just worked (alright, Gordon Ramsay.) 10/10, would highly recommend.
I love hummus, and I love herbs (I’m easily pleased) so this was a very welcome addition to the box – you can’t really go wrong with hummus and breadsticks, can you?
Le Joli Raspberry and Rhubarb Drink
Although the can quite clearly reads ‘infused water’, I was a little disappointed when this drink tasted like… well, just water. The flavour wasn’t really there at all and just tasted a bit ‘meh’. However, if you’re a fan of sparkling water (read; if you’re a crazy person) then you’ll probably really enjoy this refreshing drink.
Blendi Fiery Garlic Roasted Beans and Peas
Blendi weren’t exaggerating when they described this snack as ‘fiery’ garlic! Absolutely delicious, and although not positive for the breath situation, everyone loves a bit (or a lot) of garlic, don’t they? These are super tasty, crunchy and a more nutritious option than crisps.
I’m so pleased that more chewy sweets are finally becoming vegan! These were delish (although may take your teeth out if you’re not careful, they weren’t wrong when they said ‘chew’ bars) and reminded me of my childhood.
Misfits Plant Based Protein Bar
Another very tasty addition to the box was this protein bar – not much to say other than it was very chocolatey and yummy and I would recommend it to any gym-goers out there looking to bump up their protein intake.
Proper Chips Sour Cream and Chive
I didn’t actually try these as I’m not a fan of sour cream and chive flavoured crisps, but my Mum said they were bloody brilliant, so they must be good if they received her hard-to-come-by seal of approval.
Beauty Kitchen Organic Hand Sanitiser
I love the addition of a non-edible item in the box every month, and this couldn’t be more appropriate or handy to whack in your bag!
So, there we have the July Vegan Kind Box! I hope you enjoyed the read and look forward to August’s box!
Speak soon.
Love, Dayna x
